THE ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated Area Sales Manager to help us continue to grow and achieve our business goals.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be instrumental in developing, managing, and expanding our customer base within the key sectors of HGV, Plant & Access, and Bus & Coach. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who is adept at nurturing existing relationships while pursuing new business opportunities.
As our Area Sales Manager some of your main responsibilities will include:
· Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
· Actively seek out and engage potential clients, converting new business leads into buying customers.
· Promote and sell our full range of products and services, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs
· Perform technical demonstrations of how a product meets customers’ needs
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant data.
· Efficiently manage your time and travel plans to meet or exceed set customer engagement goals
 KEY PERSON CRITERIA:
· Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role, preferably with knowledge of engineering and automotive consumables
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to travel across regions (this may include overnight stays, including meetings and conferences)
· Full, clean driving licence required.
