Findlay English Tutorials offers one-to-one tutorials in English as a second language, Standard Grade, Higher Grade, handwriting, e.t.c. Tutorials are carried out in a friendly and comfortable environment by an experienced and patient English Tutor. Fees are £20 an hour (£15 for under 12s). There will be discounts available for groups of 3 or more, or for more than 3 sessions a week.
I have developed a 16 week course for English as a second language that will enable a student to take an exam (Key English Test) at Aberdeen College. This exam will open doors for students in that it leads to a qualification required by many companies to employ foreign nationals, or could lead into further studies.
In tutoring Standard and Higher Grade, I will not only cover past papers, but also exam technique, revision techniques and essay planning.
While handwriting is a dying artform, technique and legibility are important skills, particularly for students. I can help students improve these.
I am available daytime or evenings most days.
